Joke of the Week

A woman was driving home from a business trip in a remote part of northern Arizona when she saw an elderly Navajo woman walking on the side of the road. Since her trip was a long and lonely one and the woman didn't look threatening at all, she stopped the car and asked the Navajo woman if she would like a ride to the next town. With a silent nod of thanks, the woman got into the car and together they drove off.

Several awkward seconds passed before the driver attempted to make a bit of small talk with the Navajo woman. However the old woman just sat silently, looking intently at everything she saw, studying every little detail meticulously. Several more seconds passed before the Navajo woman suddenly noticed in the rear view mirror a white bag in the back seat.

"What in bag?" asked the old woman, intrigued.

"It's a box of chocolates' The driver replied before adding 'I got it for my husband".

The Navajo woman considered this for another brief moment. Then speaking with the assured wisdom of a worldly elder, she muttered:

'Good trade'

Recipt of the Month - Chocolate Pizza!

Feeling in need of a chocolate pick-me-up? Try this simple but fantastic recipe for a gourmet chocolate pizza! (For an even more satisfying taste try making your own pizza base!)

Ingredients

Chocolate Pizza. Picture taken from http://www.grouprecipes.com1 Pizza Base
2 Teaspoons of Melted Butter
1/4 cup Nutella Chocolate Spread
Handful of Milk Chocolate Chips
Handful of White Chocolate Chips
Handful of Roasted Macadamias or Hazelnuts
Handful of Cherries or Shredded Coconut (optional)

Method

1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees Centigrade. Place blank pizza base in oven for approximately 10 minutes or until the crust becomes crispy and pale golden brown.

2. Remove pizza from the oven but leave the oven on. Drizzle melted butter over the entire pizza base and then spread the Nutella Chocolate Spread evenly across it.

3. Liberally sprinkle both chocolate chips and the nuts around the pizza base, adding cherries or shredded coconut if desired.

4. Return to the oven and bake for a further minute or until the chocolate visibly begins to melt.

5. Remove from oven and let sit for a further minute. Cut into wedges and serve.

Thought for the Week!

Chocolate is a vegetable.
Chocolate is derived from cocoa beans.
Bean = vegetable
Sugar is derived from either sugar cane or sugar beets.
Both of them are plants, in the vegetable category. Thus, chocolate is a vegetable.
To go one step further, chocolate candy bars also contain milk, which is dairy.
So candy bars can also be considered a health food too!
